Christmas Star of the Week - Friday 22nd December 2017
This week we have an extra sparkly Christmas star of the week! Amber is an absolute star and has worked so hard this term. She is always so well behaved and is a great role model for her peers to follow! She always gives 100% in all she does both with her home and school learning!
Thank you Amber for being simply amazing - remember to put the trophy somewhere special for Father Christmas to see!
This week we are really getting into the spirit of Christmas and enjoying singing a range of Christmas songs, both old and new!
We have been working on solving maths bauble problems, showing our thinking! We’ve also been finishing off our super nativity stories in language and recapping our colours in Welsh when colouring a picture of the nativity scene.
We have really enjoyed our visit to the Unity theatre in Liverpool to watch the Jungle Book which we all really enjoyed, although it was a little scary at times!
Presley is becoming cheekier by the day! Look at what he has been up to this week -
Monday - he had a shave and left a great mess.
Tuesday - he made a mess with our pencils and sharpener
Wednesday - he ate Mrs Marten's mince pie and had a poo on the table!
Thursday - Presley was caught being really naughty today and throwing pins at our tedi cymraeg!!!
Friday - we received a goodbye poem from Presley, we are sad to see him go but we are thrilled to hear that our report to Santa is a good one!
It has been our Christmas dinner day and we have loved eating an early turkey dinner with all the trimmings - yum!
Your child will be bringing home two reading books and their homework on Thursday!
Many thanks for all of your super support this term - we really appreciate it and have enjoyed watching your children grow! Many thanks for the lovely presents you have given us, you are very kind.
Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!
