Always Aiming High – Anelu’n Uchel O Hyd

Wednesday 2nd May 2018

A very early start to the day but everybody arrived on time and we left at 6 o clock. It was a very wet journey. Bwrw glaw 😒 But fortunately the weather was much better by the time we arrived at St Fagan.  It was really good seeing the old buildings and spending lots of money at the old sweet shop.  Blasus iawn.  After lunch we travelled to Cardiff and dropped our bags at our accommodation which is literally across the road from the  Senedd. We went across to meet our guide and went into the old debating chamber and had a debate and vote about banning plastic bottles. There are definitely some future politicians in our midst.  Then we went to see a live plenary meeting in the Senedd itself. We saw Carwyn Jones, Kirsty Williams, Darren Millar and Vaughan Gething to name a few.  Bendigedig Later, as a treat, we had a Cadwalader ice cream on the bay. Some of the children then went on the carousel😄. Now amser te. Tea time.
