Kaylee was drawing and labelling, whilst James was practising his capital letters independently as well as telling us why his Nanny's dog is special to him. smiley

Harrison and the rest of the class thoroughly enjoyed colouring in their 'mariposa' by following the Spanish colours - a great challenge this week! mail

Sophie and Mayah, and lots of others, were creating their own pets in the construction area, and Evie gave me a lovely surprise when she uploaded a picture describing how special Miss Gill is! heart

Lots of animal antics this week, with a visit from Mrs Wilkes and her tortoises - Lightning and Bolt! Thank you Mrs Wilkes! The children were able to ask lots of questions and find out all kinds of information. Lightning and Bolt stayed with us most of the day and helped us in our Literacy lesson! surprise

Then we had a lovely visit from Lili - Mrs Jones' dog! What a busy morning she had visiting all the classes and making friends! She didn't want to leave to go back home, so is welcome back any time! The children have been asking for a puppy visit for weeks, so this was a lovely Friday treat - thank you Mrs Jones!

Our class assembly this week was all about 'Growing'. The children were super at performing their lines and actions to the rest of Foundation Phase, with many of class 5 deciding that they want to be teachers or scientists when they are older! heartno

Miss Gill and Mrs Jones are super proud of them all - da iawn Class 5!

Another busy week in Class 5 with lots of outdoor learning and activities!

We took part in the sponsored obstacle course on Wednesday, thank you all so much sponsoring the children. It was an action packed afternoon which all the children thoroughly enjoyedsmiley

Sponsored Obstacle Course

We have been using our maths skills in other areas over the past couple of weeks.

The children worked in teams in P.E. and had to keep their team scores, as well as getting into groups according to sums!

Whilst, Kaylee and some of her friends worked hard to match the Spanish numbers to their words and later put them in order.

Da iawn Dosbarth 5! frown

What a busy few weeks so far in Class 5!

The children have enjoyed being outside - acting out their pet stories and the  story of Mog and the VET, as well as using the bikes in the outdoor area. Lots of fun being had in these photos, with videos of the children acting being played to the rest of the class.
