At 8:30am we set off to school then at 9:30am we set off for Liverpool John Lennon airport. We checked in and got our boarding passes and then onto security where our bags were checked...the staff were so proud of us and we sure you will be too because the security guard commented on how well behaved we were! Our flight set off at 11:50am instead of 12pm and it only lasted 20 minutes.....it was super fast! When we landed we got on our coach to find our hotel. Once we arrived we quickly unpacked our stuff and got ready for our first walk of the week - it was 6 miles there and back, up to Cregneish. Once we got there to Cregneish we had a look in Harry Kelly's cottage, he was a fisherman by day and a weaver by night, he was a very busy man! Then we went to Church farm and saw some baby lambs and some special unique Loughton sheep! We kept our eyes peeled for a manx cat but we are yet to find one. We went to the shop and saw a video about Cregneish before a long tiring walk back to the hotel! For dinner we had a choice of lovely lasagne and steak pie - followed by a yummy jam doughnut! Following dinner we went to the beach and played rounders and cricket - we were all so shocked and concerned about the dangerous hits Mr Hayes was delivering!!! Some children went for a rock pool walk on the beach but all they found was one dead crab! What a super day we've had and are looking forward to another busy one
