Day 4: Thursday 14th April

Today we went to the historic market town of Abbeville. We split into small groups and went around the market buying things using our best French. On one side of the market was clothing and games, and on the other side you could buy food and drink. There were many bargains to be had and some of us were even haggling to get a better price. We all had the opportunity of trying a variety of horse meat. It tasted a little like garlc sausage and a bit better than we thought! In the afternoon we went to the underground city of Naours. There was lots to do there and after that we played on the adventure playground before going to see the windmill on top of the hill.  In the evening for dinner some of us tried frogs’ legs and snails.  We prefered the taste of frogs’ legs. The evening finished with the disco. Tomorrow is our last day. We are going to the sea world centre at Nausicaa in the morning and should be back at school around 11:30p.m. Please check the website after or call the SchoolsCall line (0871 9712783) after 6:00 p.m for more up-to-date information.
