19.9.18-Mindfulness

We've had a busy day!Its been very windy so instead of going outside, we did some welsh country dancing in the hall.It was great fun.Throughout the last 2 weeks we have been putting some dance moves to our english and maths lessons to get the children up on their feet. Also, we have been watching and discussing the Zen Den, Cosmic kids. It is Mindfulness for children. It is an excellent way of teaching how to recharge batteries, discussing our feelings and dealing with thoughts, be they positive or negative. The children are enjoying it very much and are benefiting hugely from this circle time as they begin their year 3 journey and get used to change. Please rest assured that you will be contacted quickly if your child is unsettled, although I have to say all are very smiley at the moment.Lucky us!See you in the morning.smiley
