This week we have:
Looked at different sources of light and sorted them into Man-Made and Natural
Been on a light source hunt around school and recorded our findings using the ipads
Completed subtraction number sentences
Heard the story 'Whatever Next' and have retold the story as if we were Baby Bear
Continued to practise the songs for our Christmas play - Prickly Hay
Practised our throwing and catching skills in PE
As part of Parliament Week we have:
Looked at what happens in the Houses of Parliament and had a group debate.
Next week is Anti-Bullying Week and we will be looking at 'Sam's Story' and thinking about how we would help Sam who is being bullied. We will also be making anti-bullying posters and thinking about how we can prevent bullying from happening in our school.

Looking at night/day
Sorting nocturnal and diurnal animals
Building animal shelters in Forest Schools (THURSDAY)
Thinking about what words we can use to describe different temperatures
Going outside to have a look at shadows and thinking about why they move
Using basic actions of travel, jump and land, balance and stillness in PE
